The Rules
[/color]1. This rule is probably the most important in the whole set. Respect the admins. We're not here to make you miserable, in fact we want the exact opposite. We made this site and we made it mainly so people like you could have a fun place to roleplay, so please don't insult or even bash us. Insulting is one thing, insulting and threatening (bashing) is even worse. We would never do it to you, so don't do it to us.
2. So number two is very similar to the first. Be nice to everyone and respect your fellow roleplayers. We hate it when people take the rp fights to real life and start unnecessary arguments about whether or not your character did something that was justified. It's stupid and very immature. So please, keep the fights to the threads, no one wants to see them. And we don't want to deal with them.
3. No chatspeak in character
4. make sure you post an application before starting to roleplay
5. When signing up for this site, you may register however you like. But, after you've figured out what your character's name is going to be, please change your display to the name that you have chosen.
6. No Mary Sues/Gary Sues
7. If you have to go for a period of time e.g. summer camp you HAVE to let us know in the absances board. If you are absent for more than 2 weeks without a reason posted we have the power to delete your character
8. No GMing or PPing
9. no one liners unless necessary or allowed by the other person rping with you. Try and make your replies at least 5 lines long because if it is any shorter it might be hard for the other person to reply to.
10. all in character posts should be typed up in third person, unless of course it's an ic game then it doesn't matter. But, we’'ve seen some pretty weird things and third person just makes it so much easier for everyone, don't you think?
11. Onto those gorgeous graphics everyone loves so much. All avatars must be 100x100, makes everything look prettier. You at least need that, but, if you're having a signature, it may not exceed 400 pixels in width and 500 in height. What does this mean? You are not allowed to stretch the board! That's what that means.
12. Limited swearing
13. Marking threads - Okay so romance is allowed on Mora 2.0. All we ask is that you mark these threads with a [R] in the title and a warning in the first post. This is because we have no lower age limit here on Mora so warnings need to be put in place. Other themes such as alcohol abuse and drug abuse are also allowed, but these threads must also be marked with an and [D] respectively.
14. No killing off characters unless the permision is given by the person who rp's the character
15. Don't talk in capitals. When someone is talking in capitals, they are understood to be yelling. So, don't talk in capitals unless you are yelling.
16. If the thread has a name in the title do not post there unless you are the person, or you have been asked by the members of the thread to post and come into the plot within that.
17. The password is muggleborne
18. Plot with people, If you see that someone has a plot request up and no one has replied to it, then you reply to it. One, it's a nice thing to do and who knows, you might just come up with a kick ass plot. And two, it'll help draw new members in if they see that people are willing to plot with others, well okay it won't automatically make them join. But it will help their decision.
19. have fun
