The Story Dark times are still happening at Hogwarts. Lord Voldemort had a daughter before he died. His daughter is now following in her father’s footsteps and is now creating havoc in the school her father called home. She has the same ideas as her father that pure bloods should rule the world and that muggle bournes, blood traitors and muggles should be persecuted. Because of her ideas, she has gathered followers and revived the Death Eaters (DE) who do her bidding. Some of the teachers are also members of the DE too which makes them untouchable by the faculty. The headmaster Duros pretends not to be biased but he is, and the bad thing is it’s towards the DE which means that they can get away with theoretical murder. The DE are getting stronger by the second and are starting to have a greater influence in the faculty including putting an imperius charm on Duros which is very bad news. They have changed everything, Defence Against the Dark Arts is now the Dark arts, and is compulsory for everyone.
A Glimmer of Light Finally people began to notice and get sick of how orientated towards the Dark Arts their studies were and decided that enough was enough and they started a group preparing to fight back against this atrocity. This group took inspiration from the Order of the Phoenix and created the New Order (or NO). This group of people are dedicated to fighting back against the treatment of the DE. They are fighting for the freedom of so many. However it will not be easy as most of the faculty are DE sympathetic and the headmaster is under the control of Miss Riddle.
New Traditions
With Duros as headmaster, things have got a lot worse. The DE don't just want to rid the world of muggle borns and blood traitors. They have turned their attention to half-bloods and anyone with muggle relations in their family tree. Blood history is the key now. 4 generations of pureblood and you're safe, you've passed the test. Any obscure family connections odd muggle cousins or even squibs can bring down the whole family. Squibs are all moving into the muggle community to protect themselves and their families, whilst muggleborns are buying purer blood histories on the Black market. It's a lucrative market to say the least, like selling your soul to the devil, or make that a dementor because that's where you'll end up if you are discovered. So how does this affect Hogwarts? Well muggleborns are not accepted, not that that would be a surprise to any considering the ideas of those running the government and indeed the school. Blood examinations are now part of the sorting ceremony, every new student is questioned in front of the rest of the school about their family and relations. 3 strikes and you're out and I really mean out, they are not usually seen again. However, this is quite a rarity. If you have sacrificed everything to buy your child a place at the prestigous school you'd make sure they knew their new family tree inside out. It's no easy road and it's not easy even if you are accepted and get sorted by the sorting hat. You'll meet the DE, a certain Miss Riddle and the entire faculty. You won't forget that.
The Whispers
But if you are particularly brave, you might hear rumours and whispers of a rebellion. This New Order. So secretive even the most respected members are only informed of a meeting minutes before it happens. Locations change, frequently. But then if you get caught, you're in for it. Anyone associated with this group is subject to a meeting with Duros. Duros has adopted Dolores Umbridge's techniques of disicipline, so you quickly learn not to get caught.
The Choice
So it's an easy choice right? The DE or the NO? Simple. Just two choices. You'd be wrong there. There is another. A myth. To the students anyway and the staff. So who knows if it really exists? Only time will tell, in the game of life. The year is 2016 and welcome to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
